SOL FOUNDATION

Sol Munki re-defines the art of giving by publicly announcing The SOL (Survivors of Life) Foundation, a newly founded non-profit sector of the rapidly growing fashion and social empire.

Community involvement has always been a priority for Sol Munki.  Since its inception in 2002, the line has aligned itself with various different organizations geared toward making a difference in the lives of urban youth in and around the Atlanta area.  “We’ve been doing [volunteer work] this for a minute.  The only difference is that we’re doing it in a more organized way so we can be an even greater resource to the kids,” explains owner Darius “Wally” McCaskill, owner of Sol Munki and the man behind its non-profit undertakings to date.

Sol Munki, Inc. Manufactures Unity Newness, Knowledge and Individuality for ‘Survivors of Life’. Over the past 6 years it has played a solid position in the fusion of niche culture, progressive living and unconventional personal style in the Atlanta community and abroad. Their influence in such movement has created a cult-like following and identifiable way of life for Sol Munki and its extended family.  As the company’s newly organized philanthropic movement, the Sol Foundation will serve as a beacon to adolescent/teen males adversely affected by ‘the process of life’.  The Sol Foundation teaches its youth that they are inherent champions of life despite the struggles they face and will ultimately overcome.  Its primary focus is to inspire growth, creativity, integrity and leadership by going to the core of the crisis and facilitating a movement of change in the perspective of a collective.
